ABOUT CORNERSTONE
A church built on Christ, one life at a time.
Cornerstone Fellowship Church is a non‑denominational, Christ‑centered, people‑loving, joyful congregation in Fairburn, Georgia. Our vision is simple and it is hard: knowing and obeying God's will — together, in this house and in our individual lives.
OUR MISSION
Working together, we exist to make disciples through the love of Jesus Christ.
Programs and methods may change, but the mission remains. Our guiding question: does this help people take their next faithful step with Christ?
OUR VISION
Knowing and Obeying God's will — together, in this house and in our individual lives.
WHAT WE ARE BUILT ON
01
Christ Is Our Ultimate Treasure
Jesus is not just one value among many; He is the center of our worship and hope.
02
God's Word Is Our Foundation
We submit our lives to the authority of Scripture rather than shifting cultural opinions.
03
We Are a Family of Disciples
Discipleship is a lifelong process of becoming like Jesus alongside our spiritual brothers and sisters.
04
We Serve and Multiply Others
We use our gifts to serve neighbors and equip the next generation to follow Christ.

YOUR PASTORS
Charles & Carolyn Martin
Charles and Carolyn Martin serve Cornerstone together as Co‑Pastors, and they lead the way they teach — side by side. Their conviction is that a church is not a building but a family being built on Christ, stone by stone, person by person.

That shows up in the ordinary things: mentoring one believer at a time, praying with the congregation on the phone before the workday starts, and making sure no one who walks through the doors leaves a stranger.

You'll usually find them at the door on Sunday — and they'd genuinely love to know your name.
What we believe
Cornerstone Fellowship Church is a spiritual family of followers of Jesus Christ, redeemed by God's grace, united by the Gospel, and empowered by the Holy Spirit for God's glory. These affirmations anchor our worship, discipleship, leadership, ministry, and life together.
Our posture: we receive these truths with humility, teach them faithfully, and seek to live beneath their authority through the grace of God.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
01 · THE TRIUNE GOD
We believe in one living and true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one God in three Persons. He is holy, sovereign, faithful, merciful, all‑wise, and worthy of all worship. He created and sustains all things, and all creation exists for His glory.
Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19 · John 1:1‑3 · 2 Corinthians 13:14 · Revelation 4:11
03 · CREATION, HUMANITY, AND SIN
We believe God created all things and made every person in His image, giving every human being inherent dignity and worth. Humanity was created for fellowship with God, yet all have sinned and fall short of His glory. Our deepest need is reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:26‑27 · Genesis 3:1‑19 · Romans 3:23 · Romans 6:23 · Ephesians 2:1‑3
05 · THE GOSPEL AND SALVATION
We believe salvation is God's gracious gift, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—not earned through religious activity, moral effort, or human merit. Through Christ's death and resurrection, sinners are forgiven, reconciled to God, made new, and brought into His family. The Gospel is also the good news in which disciples continue to live and grow.
Mark 1:14‑15 · John 3:16‑17 · Romans 5:6‑11 · Ephesians 2:8‑10 · Titus 3:4‑7
07 · THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the body and family of Christ, composed of all who belong to Him. Jesus alone is the Church's Head; pastors and leaders are stewards and servants. The local church gathers for worship, prayer, biblical teaching, fellowship, baptism and the Lord's Supper, mutual care, generous service, and equipping for mission.
Matthew 16:18 · Acts 2:42‑47 · 1 Corinthians 11:23‑26 · 1 Corinthians 12:12‑27 · Ephesians 4:11‑16
09 · THE MISSION OF GOD
We believe the risen Christ sends His Church to make disciples of all nations. We proclaim the Gospel, invite people to Christ, form disciples rather than spectators, develop disciple‑makers and servant leaders, demonstrate compassion, and live as faithful witnesses in every sphere of life.
Matthew 28:18‑20 · John 20:21 · Acts 1:8 · 2 Corinthians 5:18‑20 · James 2:14‑17
02 · THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy, authoritative, and sufficient Word of God. Through Scripture, God reveals Himself, exposes sin, proclaims salvation in Christ, and equips His people for faithful living. Scripture is our final authority for doctrine, character, ministry, and life.
Psalm 119:105 · 2 Timothy 3:16‑17 · 2 Peter 1:20‑21 · Hebrews 4:12
04 · JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human. He lived without sin, proclaimed God's Kingdom, revealed the Father, and gave His life on the Cross as the sufficient sacrifice for sinners. He rose bodily, reigns as Savior and King, intercedes for His people, and will return in glory. Jesus is the Head, Chief Shepherd, and Cornerstone of His Church.
John 1:1‑18 · Colossians 1:15‑20 · 1 Corinthians 15:3‑8 · Hebrews 4:14‑15 · Acts 1:9‑11
06 · THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ, convicts of sin, gives new life, indwells every believer, illuminates Scripture, produces Christlike character, empowers worship and witness, and distributes spiritual gifts for the common good. We depend upon the Spirit to accomplish what human effort cannot produce.
John 14:16‑17, 26 · John 16:7‑15 · Acts 1:8 · Galatians 5:22‑25 · 1 Corinthians 12:4‑11
08 · DISCIPLESHIP AND CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe a disciple is a lifelong follower of Jesus who hears His Word, trusts His character, obeys His commands, repents when stumbling, and remains with Him through every season. Spiritual maturity is the Holy Spirit's work of making Christ increasingly visible in us—and mature disciples help others follow Jesus.
Luke 9:23 · John 8:31‑32 · John 15:1‑11 · Romans 12:1‑2 · 2 Corinthians 3:18 · Colossians 1:28‑29
10 · THE RETURN OF CHRIST AND OUR HOPE
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. God will raise the dead, judge with perfect justice, make all things new, and dwell with His redeemed people forever. This hope calls us to worship, holiness, courage, perseverance, mission, and faithful stewardship until He comes.
John 14:1‑3 · Acts 17:30‑31 · 1 Thessalonians 4:13‑18 · Revelation 21:1‑5 · Revelation 22:12‑13
OUR CONFESSION
We treasure Christ, trust His Word, depend upon His Spirit, love His Church, and await His return. We are not owners. We are stewards. May we be found faithful for His glory alone.
